Cotabato Province – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII has ramped up its monitoring efforts for the implementation of the Enhanced Support Services Intervention (ESSI) for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Cotabato Province. This initiative aims to ensure the sustainability of progress and empower households as they transition towards self-sufficiency.
The enhanced monitoring is a crucial step in the DSWD’s commitment to provide continuous support to 4Ps beneficiaries, even after they have exited the program. The ESSI is designed to connect graduating and self-sufficient 4Ps families with a range of post-program interventions, including livelihood assistance, skills training, and employment opportunities from partner agencies and local government units (LGUs).
The DSWD-12 is working closely with LGUs and various stakeholders in Cotabato to ensure a seamless and effective delivery of the ESSI. The collaboration with partner agencies and organizations is vital to creating a robust support system that will enable former 4Ps beneficiaries to sustain their gains and achieve long-term economic stability.
