Koronadal City – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 12 proudly announces the Pitogo Family from Brgy. Datu Wasay, Kalamansig as the regional winner of the Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya 2025 search, a recognition program that honors outstanding family-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

Among the three provincial nominees, the Pitogo Family stood out for their strong family ties, active community involvement, and commitment to education, serving as a model to other 4Ps families.

Currently, the family has two licensed teachers, one registered criminologist, an army and a college student.

Despite the success of their children, Mr. Warlito and Mrs. Jocelyn Pitogo are still working as a coffee farmer and a store vendor.

“Dako gyud ang natabang sa 4Ps labi na sa pagpaswela sa akong mga anak,” (The 4Ps greatly helped the education of my children,) said Mrs. Pitogo during the interview.

Meanwhile, the DSWD XII also recognized the Cagud Family from Barangay Tacupan in Carmen, Cotabato Province that won the first place and Balderas Family of Barangay Laconon, TBoli, South Cotabato as second placetheir inspiring stories of resilience, faith, and transformation.

The event also recognized Ms. Princess Arrah D. Magno as the 2025 4Ps Exemplary Child winner who consistently excelled in her school and community advocacy.

Coming in second was Princess Rubygiel G. Gerodias from Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat followed by Kassandra Cate C. Prado from General Santos City and Klent Joshua B. Sumicad from Surallah, South Cotabato.
