Following the required culture period, the tilapia stocks reached marketable size, creating opportunities for distribution and potential income generation among partner-beneficiaries. The tilapia recorded a satisfactory survival rate, attributed to consistent monitoring and proper pond management practices. The activity further highlighted the beneficiaries’ improved knowledge in aquaculture techniques, alongside strengthened market linkages that support better pricing and income sustainability. The team also continued its assessment and provision of technical guidance to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project.
In the afternoon, the Team, together with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and AVLDA, conducted geotagging and site visitation activities in Brgy. Lampitak and Brgy. Maltana, Tampakan, in preparation for the continued implementation of the RRP – Project LAWA at BINHI for 2026.
