KORONADAL CITY – At least 30 beneficiaries of government’s anti-poverty Conditional Cash Transfer program attended skills enhancement training on September 20, 2014 in Koronadal City.
Bai Zorahayda T. Taha, regional director of Department of Social Welfare and Development, reported the day-long training held at Notre Dame of Marbel University aimed to develop clients skills as well provide them with possible livelihood and assistance to support their families through the help of other government agencies.
Taha said the DTI, Philhealth, DTI and CHR supported the event.
At the same time, around 30 public administration graduate students of NDMU attended the affair.
Taha said the activity formed part of “Kaya Ko ang Pagbabago”, a campaign which brings into the fore the message that Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries have stepped up and worked hard at achieving positive changes in their lives. (End)
