Koronadal City – Feeding for identified beneficiaries of BangUn will begin soonest as food supplies reached various parts of Maguindanao today.

Pregnant, lactating mothers and malnourished children were identified to benefit from the government’s flagship program for Bangsamoro communities known as Bangsamo Umpungan sa Nutrisyun or BangUn.

Loreto Jr Cabaya, regional director of DSWD12 said that BangUn intends to address food requirements and nutrition of communities affected by conflicts and war.

Said supplies will be turned over to Barangays and identified parent-leaders for preparation and community feeding.
