Isulan, Sultan Kudarat – With the theme “Pugay Tagumpay sa mga Pamilyang nagtapos bilang miyembro-benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program”, a total of 210 4Ps beneficiaries were recently honored here after results of assessment showed them an improved quality of life.
In the agency’s Pugay Tagumpay, a graduation rite that aims to recognize the improved state of well-being of 4Ps beneficiaries, DSWD12 Director Loreto Jr. Cabaya gave a compelling message to the graduates.
He said, “Nalipay gid kami nga isa kamo ka ebendensya nga successful ang amon programa kay ang inyo anak nangin prospesyunal. Kag amon gid ina ang amon gina pasalamatan.”
Meanwhile, Sultan Kudarat Board Member Linda Latog, in her message, emphasized the essence of 4Ps. She said, “With this platform, beneficiaries have the support to ensure their children receive an education.”
Identified graduates were from the towns of Lambayong, President Quirino, Lutayan, Isulan,Esperanza and Senator Ninoy Aquino and city of Tacurong.
Nissan K. Aguil, a beneficiary from Esperanza shared her testimony on how she optimized the help she received from the program. She used to sell “Yemas” at school to meet her needs, which enabled her to graduate cum laude. Now, she is a licensed social worker enployed in DSWD-12.
Another beneficiary from Sen. Ninoy Aquino town, Corazon B. Estandarte told that two of her children have graduated, one of them is now a Civil Engineer in Sultan Kudarat.
In attendance to the said rite were: DSWD Assistant Director for Administration Bailano A. Ali, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Elenita Saavedra, Glecy D. Fornan, MD – SP member, Chairperson on Social Services, Estela S. Hallegado from OPAG, Engr. Arturo D. Zambrano – Head of CSO, Joemer Ebreo – LEPIDO
and Jimmy C. Andang – OIC Provincial Administrator.
