Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) XII team immediately responded to the flooding incident in Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte. Following continuous heavy rains on July 9, quick response team conducted immediate validation and assessment of the families affected by the floods.

Today, July 10, the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) will deliver family food packs to the affected area in preparation for distribution. This prompt response is in line with the mandate of DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian and President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to ensure immediate assistance to disaster victims.
