DSWD12 director Loreto Jr Cabaya said, “Let us embrace the principles of ARTA and actively work towards its full implementation.”
The ARTA Law emphasizes the need for clear and accessible information regarding government services through the establishment of user-friendly websites, hotlines, and help desks, that ensures that citizens are well-informed about the services they are entitled to and on the processes involved to avail these services.
Among the agency’s frontline services are: provision of clearances for minors traveling abroad, assistance to individuals in crisis situation and registration of social welfare and development agencies or SWDAs.
