Cotabato City – To promote awareness on the rights and wefare of Persons with Disability(PWD), the Center for Handicapped spearheaded various activities that highlighted their strengths and capacities inspite of their condition.

Ninety-eight PWDs were invited to participate in activities such as: Mr. and Ms. NDPR, Dance contest, Singing Solo, poster making and distribution of hygiene kits and food packs.

Said activities were part of the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) week celebration with the theme: “Person with Disabilities Accessibility and Rights: Towards a Sustainable Future where No One is Left Behind”.

Among the partners that showed support were: Ministry of Social Services and Development, Kutawato Greenland Initiatives, Cotabato City Police Office, ALS District III, CRMC-Dental Department, and Population Commission FO XII
