Sultan Kudarat – In the aftermath of the devastating Typhoon Paeng that struck last year, 1,107 families across different barangays of Palimbang, Kalamansig and Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, were severely impacted and faced significant challenges in rebuilding their lives and homes.
The typhoon left 314 families with complete damage to their homes and belongings. In response, a financial aid of 8,280 pesos each has been extended to these families, aiming to alleviate their immediate distress and aid in the reconstruction of their homes and livelihoods.
Additionally, 794 families encountered substantial damage to their properties, making their road to recovery equally challenging. To assist them in addressing their immediate needs and initiating the rehabilitation process, they have received cash transfers amounting to 4,140 pesos each.
The provision of financial aid to the affected families reflects the agency’s commitment to supporting its citizens during times of crisis and facilitating the recovery of communities impacted by natural disasters.
