Polomolok, South Cotabato – Following the approval of the guidelines on Search for Outstanding Social Welfare Agencies (SWAs) and Auxiliary Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs), two identified agencies operating in SOCCSKSARGEN region were recently nominated for their excellent organizational performance and compliance to set standards.
Mahintana Foundation Inc, based in Polomolok, South Cotabato and Living New Phililppines from General Santos City currently undergo validation as to completeness of documentation, its accuracy and consistency prior to inclusion in the final list of Outstanding SWAs and SWDAs.
Ali Namla, head of standards section said that these organizations are reliable partners of the agency. He said, “we believe that these agencies must be recognized for their efforts and are worthy of emulation in terms of performance and scope of services rendered to poor and disadvantaged sectors.”
Tricia Echaveria, project development officer from Standards Bureau – Central Office announced that winners of said annual search will be recognized every December and will receive congratulatory tarpaulin, a plaque and 50,000 cash incentive with free technical assistance/capability building training inclusive of travel allowance.
Monica Seles Dolores-Valondo, project development officer from DSWD-CO also joined said validation activity.
