General Santos City – More than 2000 earthquake victims receive financial assistance from DSWD12 which was personally handed over by the Department’s top official Secretary Rex Gatchalian.

The agency has recorded more or less 3000 earthquake victims who were mostly from business establishments.

Said victims temporarily stopped from their work.
Legean Dorimon, 26 years old, sales lady from KCC Mall of Gensan received cash assistance amounting to 2,000.00.

She said, “wala mi trabaho hasta gina ayos pa ang mall. May magamit jud mi karon sa among pang adlaw-adlaw . Salamat sa gobyerno.”
