Chaired by Dir. Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya, he presided the meeting on the efforts and ongoing partnerships of DSWD XII and LBP Branches. Among them were the updates of the undelivered EMV cash cards for the Set 11 and Set 12 beneficiaries program that will be produced by LBP Batasan Compound starting June 2024 and the reiteration of the “no cash card pawning” among 4Ps beneficiaries.

“We need to clearly communicate the consequences of violating the policy, which may include sanctions or loss of benefits, to deter beneficiaries from engaging in cash card pawning,” says Dir. Cabaya to the provincial coordinators of the program.

The meeting is held annually that aims to contribute to more effective and efficient delivery of social welfare services and financial inclusion initiatives to those families in need. (Audrey A. Soliva-IO)
