Isulan, Sultan Kudarat—Field and regional implementers of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) recently paid a courtesy call to Hon. Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu, Governor of Sultan Kudarat, to affirm their commitment to improve the quality of life of the poor and vulnerable families living in the province.
The courtesy call was led by Dir. Loreto Jr. Cabaya of DSWD XII and attended by other key officials and technical staff of the DSWD XII including the Regional Program Coordinator of 4Ps, Ms. Naifah S. Balindong, and the 4Ps Provincial Link of Sultan Kudarat, Ms. Norzahra Dimatingkal.
The meeting aimed to provide updates on the current status of the 4Ps implementation, such as the 43,696 Pantawid beneficiaries that received their conditional cash grants amounting to Php507.2 billion for the last quarter of 2024 and the 1st semester of 2025.
Ms. Balindong also provided an update for the upcoming E-Panalo ang Kinabukasan, a digital financial inclusion initiative in 4Ps that will be launched on July 30-31, 2025, in the municipalities of Lebak and Palimbang that aims to introduce the new modes of disbursing the beneficiaries’ cash grants through GCash or Maya.
Governor Mangudadatu warmly welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the critical role of the 4Ps. He expressed his support for the program and pledged the provincial government’s support in addressing the challenges faced by the program implementers on its ground-level implementation.
