Koronadal City, August 12, 2025 — In a move to bolster the delivery of essential services to the most vulnerable sectors in Region 12, the 1 Tahanan Partylist engaged in a strategic dialogue today with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII (DSWD FO XII).

During the collaborative meeting, DSWD FO XII Regional Director Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya presented an overview of the agency’s key programs, including Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU) services, the Social Pension Program, KALAHI-CIDSS, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), various initiatives under the Innovations Division, and other core social welfare services.

Cabaya underscored the significance of such partnerships, noting that stronger collaboration between government and legislative allies like 1 Tahanan will lead to more responsive, timely, and impactful service delivery across the region.

“The convergence of our efforts ensures that no individual or family is left behind,” he said. “By working hand-in-hand, we can significantly uplift lives and bring government programs closer to those who need them most.”

1 Tahanan Partylist Representative Rebecca V. Magante, RSW, who also serves as the Operations Director of KaBrigada Foundation Inc., along with Jaymark Canlas and Goddin Powell Felix, affirmed their full support for the DSWD’s mission and pledged continued cooperation to expand the reach and efficiency of social protection initiatives in Region 12.
