MALUNGON, SARANGANI – Restituto B. Macuto, Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII (DSWD FO XII), praised BGen. Potenciano Camba, Brigade Commander of 1002nd Brigade based in town by handing over a Plaque of Appreciation signed by DSWD’s Secretary Rolando Joselito Bautista for his exemplary contributions and partnership in ensuring the security and safety of all DSWD personnel in its implementation of social protection and poverty reduction programs in the community.BGEN. Camba served the Brigade for almost 2 years and now passing it over to COL. Alexei C. Musñgi INF (GSA) PA previously assigned in G3 Philippine Army.
BGen. Camba will be assigned as new Deputy Commander of the East Mindanao Command in Panacan Davao City.
Moreover, the new Brigade Commander, Col. Musñgi assured that his support to the department and Local government units will continue.
The Army’se 1002nd IBde has operational jurisdiction over portions of the provinces of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and North Cotabato in Region 12, and Davao del Sur and Davao Occidental in Region 11.
