Maasim, Saranggani – The Department of Social Welfare and Development 12 has served more than a hundred from a thousand of urban poor participant of the services caravan spearheaded by the Presidential Commission on Urban Poor or PCUP.

Emma Sacar, social welfare and development team leader of DSWD12 in Saranggani said that most of the concerns of clients were on the availment of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation and Social Pension Program, among others.

“They were provided with orientation and program briefing on how to avail our services as well as counseling sessions especially to clients with difficult circumstances,” Sacar said.

The PCUP caravan also includes the participation of other agencies such as DTI, OWWA, DA, DOH, POPCOM, PHILHEALTH, SSS, and the local government’s outreach team.
