General Santos City – A composite team Regional Juvenile Justice and Welfare Committee (RJJWC) in SOCCSKSARGEN region recently visited child centers and police headquarters.

This activity, according to Rabyn Quiñones, social welfare officer and secretariat of said committee ensures the proper implementation of amended Juvenile Justice Law under RA 10630.

Among the centers visited were Marcellin Foundation Inc., Substitute Center for Girls, Children Crisis Center and Bahay PagAsa.

Some police stations visited were Malungon Muncipal Police Station and General Santos Police Station 9.

The visit was aimed at reminding duty bearers on the proper coordination and handling of the CICLs and also the handling and assistance to the victim.
