Cotabato City – Two senior citizens that reached 100 years old were awarded with P100,000 recently as mandated by Centenarian Law.

Laurancia Catalon of Matalam, Cotabato Province and Kaison Pagiran Maman of Cotabato City both received their cash gift and were also awarded with Plaque of Recognition signed by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.

Centenarian Laurancia said that the reward from the government will be of big help to finance primary medical.and nutrition needs.

The payout event was attended by some town officials, local social welfare office representatives, senior citizen’s association officers and Office of Senior Citizens Affairs heads.
