Koronadal City – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 12 recently met stakeholders of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or AICS program in order to inform COMELEC prohibitions during the forthcoming election period.

Nanig Sanoy, head of Crisis Intervention Unit said that the period of prohibition will ensure that government funds are not abused for political and personal campaign purposes.

DSWD12 director Loreto Cabaya also urged the cooperation of congressional initiatives to abide by the election policies on use of social welfare funds.

In attendance to said meeting were representatives from each congressional district namely: Argene Cadorna and Chloe Togono of South Cotabato District I, Yinnah Cabangal and Suzette Eusoya of District II, Hyacint Maniego and Carina Minandang of Sultan Kudarat District I, Yolly Lebanon and Grace Tomis of Gensan, Aiza Cruz anx Ibrahim Nilong of Sarangani, Nicanor Nanlabi and Minnie Cabang of Cotabato Province, Joesan Pacaldo og Maguindanao Del Norte and Cabili Sinsuat of Maguindanao Del Sur.
