Poblacion Glan, Sarangani – A team of responders of DSWD12, in collaboration with the Local Government of Glan was deployed here today to continue providing relief assistance to earthquake affected families.

DSWD12 Regional Director Loreto Jr. Cabaya said, “our disaster information board reflected a total of 3,750 families that were affected by the quake incident here.”

Cabaya said, “DSWD12 will provide 700 family food packs (FFPs) in Barangay Poblacion, 550 in Barangay Lago, 350 in Glan Padido and another 400 in Ilaya, 400 in Tapon, 250 in Gumasa and 350 in Calabanit.

The foodpack contains 6 kilos of rice, 10 canned goods, 5 sachet cereals and 5 sachet coffee which can last up to 3 days depending on the number of family members.

The recent earthquake, which jolted Southern Philippines with 6.8 manigude has left some workers displaced or experienced temporary loss of livelihood and some families lost shelter.
