Koronadal City – In line with its commitment to fostering a healthy workplace culture, Disaster Response Management Division of DSWD XII conducted an informative orientation on proper and balanced nutrition led by Jasmine Francisco, Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND). The event, held at Villa Amor,Koronadal saw the active participation of DRMD Chief, Naira Aratuc, alongside all staff members.

The orientation aimed to equip employees with essential knowledge and tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle through optimal nutrition practices. Jasmine Francisco, RND, provided valuable insights, emphasizing the significance of balanced dietary habits in promoting overall well-being and productivity.

“Our Health and Wellness program is dedicated to supporting our staff in achieving their health goals,” remarked Naira Aratuc, DRMD Chief. “We believe that by empowering our employees with the right information and resources, we can cultivate a healthier and more vibrant workplace.”

As part of the initiative, DRMD Operational Safety and Health Officer Youngy Parami, announced the upcoming “DRMD Biggest Loser” competition, designed to encourage healthy weight management among participants specifically DRMD staff.

“We are excited to launch the ‘DRMD Biggest Loser’ competition as a fun and engaging way to promote healthy habits among our team,” added Naira Aratuc. ”

The orientation and upcoming competition reflect DRMD’s dedication to prioritizing the health and well-being of its employees, further solidifying its position as a leader in fostering a positive workplace environment.
