General Santos City – In response to the growing public concerns and issues regarding the availment of social welfare services, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through its Agency Operations Service (AOS) organized a ‘National User’s Training on Integrated Grievance Redress Management System’ (IGRMS) to manage and address grievances and complaints from citizens and stakeholders.

Dir. Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya in his message said, “We need to master this kind of training to keep improving the way of doing business in government service. Furthermore, this training is designed to effectively streamline the resolution process.”

Meanwhile, Asec. Juan Carlo V. Marquez of External Assistance and Development encouraged the participants to share their insights and perspectives as their inputs and feedbacks are important in maximizing the benefits and efficiency of the IGRMS.

Said training aims to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of its grievance redress mechanism and to satisfy the public in the social welfare services provided by the department.

The IGRMS is expected to be fully implemented and operational effective immediately as confirmed by Dir. Clarissa Lara A. Duran of Agency Operations Service.
